FLAC and MP3вЂ™s keep the tagging and album art. I use MediaHuman Audio Converter to transfer the files to USB drives in WAV, FLAC and MP3 format on different drives and tested all formats depending on whether I want album art or highest quality file, and with FLAC, the best of both. It could hold a lot more if I converted the files to MP3. It is only 32GB but can still store my main playlist of over 1000 songs saved off my CD collection in Apple Lossless.

I'm sure there is no definitive answer but I would like some helpД«efore 'investing' in a long term solution.ДЄs a by note I restart the current song before turning off the car it then (the next day) only takes about 15 seconds to start playing, when that track has ended about 15 seconds (depending on track length !!) until indexing has finished & I can change folder/album.ДЇor my E92 I usually use a re-purposed iPhone 3 exclusively for music playback in a snap in adapter.

I guess also how long after starting until you get music ? I would love a SSD but 4 minutes just won't cut it for me.
